Wizz Air has temporarily suspended its flights to and from Tel Aviv following recent developments in the region.
Accoridng to the 13 June statement from the airline, "Due to the escalating situation in the Middle East, and several closed airspaces in the region, Wizz Air has decided to suspend its operations to Tel Aviv as of this morning and reroute all of its flights (where possible) that were due to overfly the affected airspaces for the next 72 hours."
"With the support of national, international, governmental and private security sources, the airline will keep on assessing and monitoring the region and the unfolding situation, and will make the necessary decisions, keeping the safety of its passengers, crew and aircraft their top priority," the statement continued.
It went on to note that, "Wizz Air is offering free rebooking to affected customers or a full refund in WIZZ credits or in the original form of payment. Customers who booked through an online travel agency or another third party, should reach out to them directly to receive the refund or rebook to an alternative flight."
The airline also said it was "advising all passengers to follow these instructions:

- If your flight has been impacted, follow any guidance received in our SMS and email messages and utilise our self-service solutions available for you directly from your Wizz Air account."
