The Cyprus Film Commission attended networking sessions and meetings on the side-lines of Series Mania, the international festival for TV Series that takes place annually in Lille, France. The aim? To entice producers of high-end TV series to film in Cyprus.
Posting about the event, which took place on 21-28 March, the Film Commission’s Chairman Lefteris Eleftheriou said Series Mania “continues to grow each year, attracting a larger audience of industry professionals and international companies, including prominent streaming platforms”.
Invest Cyprus launched a strategic effort in recent years to promote the country as a leading destination for the production of motion pictures, and more, with the island establishing itself firmly on the world film industry map and increasingly becoming a key attraction for large and renowned production companies.
